Our Team

The most important part of PeopleCap, and the reason we are able to provide the level of value that we do to our clients, is Our Team. 

While we have unique and complimentary backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, we share a deep understanding of people and a passion for helping leaders sync their strategies with their people. 

Our collaborative approach - both internally and with our clients - allows us to leverage our experience and perspectives to provide the deepest insight to our clients. 

 

Howard Cleveland, Principal

Howard has over 17 years of experience helping leaders discover and understand the factors impacting their culture and morale. Before founding PeopleCap with Meg and Andy, Howard was a partner of a premier Labor & Employment firm, where he helped companies not only deal with employment issues, but also discover the underlying causes of employee performance problems and/or employees' interest in a union.

Meg Thomas Crosby, Principal

Meg built her career managing the cultural integrations of companies experiencing rapid growth. She managed the employee relations and related business strategies for Credit Suisse First Boston and Google.  She formed a cross-functional mergers and acquisitions integration team to ensure that companies Google acquired were integrated smoothly into Google’s strong culture while limiting interruptions in productivity.  Meg was involved in 35 acquisition integrations on four continents.

Andy Nix, Principal

Andy has over 20 years experience working in both the Human Resources and Finance arenas.  He specializes in helping organizations find the balance between the bottom line and employee relations.  Andy is frequently called upon by executive leaders to assist in evaluating current landscape and developing a People Strategy for their organization that supports business objectives.

 Katie Spencer, Cultural Strategist

Katie earned her Masters Degree in Chicago and then returned to New York where she was an adjunct professor of Cultural Anthropology at SUNY. Katie worked in the national office of Boys & Girls Club of America, where she led national initiatives, oversaw multi-million dollar budgets, and drove the strategic vision of the programs.  Her background and experience with organizational assessment and outcome measurement helps PeopleCap’s client quantify the success they are having in navigating transitions.

 Beth Brock, Manager

Prior to joining PeopleCap, Beth worked 20 years in the multi-family housing industry, serving both private and REIT sectors.  Most recently as Central Region SVP with MAA, overseeing 6200 apartment homes with 150 associates over four states and a total annual budget of over $55M. Beth's operational experience, business acumen, and passion for people have provided our team and our clients with an invaluable perspective.
